Apple is preparing to allow iPhone users in the European Union to uninstall its Safari browser by the end of 2024, and the company is working on developing an easier way to transfer data “from an iPhone to a non-Apple phone” such as Android by the fall of 2025.
This comes according to a new compliance document published by the company, which outlines all the ways in which it complies with the new European Union digital markets law that comes into force this week.
