To lovers of video conferencing and visual communication, good news comes from Microsoft, which has launched a new update that enriches your experience using the Windows 11 system.
Users of the beta version of this system, known as “Windows Insider,” can now use their Android phones or tablets instead of the webcam, which opens new horizons for improving image quality thanks to advanced smartphone cameras.
To benefit from this new feature, you must first ensure that you have joined the Windows Insider program, then download the “Link to Windows” application on your Android device, with the version not less than version 1.24012.
After that, you can go to Settings on your Windows 11 computer, then to Bluetooth and Devices and choose Portable Devices.
Then select Device Manager and grant the computer access to the Android phone. After completing the setup successfully, you will see a message confirming the connection.
